Eminent pharmacist, healthcare leader, philanthropist and corporate executive, Pharm. (Dr.) Paul Osogbe Enebeli, has formally accepted his appointment as the Advisory Board Chairman of BEL Dialogue, an audience-participatory discussion platform established by Bel Media Consult Limited.

In a letter dated June 4, 2026 and addressed to the Secretary of BEL Dialogue, Enebeli described his appointment as a privilege and pledged his support towards the growth and success of the platform, which is designed to promote informed public discourse on governance, leadership, development and societal advancement.

The distinguished pharmacist commended the vision behind BEL Dialogue, noting that the initiative has the potential to foster meaningful engagement on critical national and sub-national issues affecting citizens and communities.

“I consider this appointment a privilege and commend the vision behind BEL Dialogue in fostering informed public discourse on issues of governance, leadership, development and societal progress,” he stated in the acceptance letter.

He expressed appreciation to the management of Bel Media Consult Limited for the confidence reposed in him, assuring that he would deploy his vast professional and leadership experience in advancing the objectives of the discussion platform.

The renowned healthcare professional further stated that he looked forward to working closely with the Board, management and other stakeholders to promote impactful dialogue and constructive conversations capable of contributing to national development.

The acceptance of the appointment is a major boost for BEL Dialogue, given his distinguished record of leadership, professional excellence and public service spanning several decades.

A towering figure in Nigeria’s healthcare sector, Enebeli is the Chairman of New Heights Pharma Limited and a former Chairman of the Board of Fellows of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN). He is also a Fellow of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (FPSN), the highest professional honour attainable in the pharmacy profession in Nigeria.

His academic and professional accomplishments have earned him widespread recognition, including the award of Doctor of Science (Honoris Causa) by the University of Benin during its 48th Convocation Ceremony in recognition of his outstanding contributions to healthcare, education and societal development.

Enebeli is also a Fellow of the Nigeria Academy of Pharmacy (FNAPHARM), a Fellow of the West African Post-Graduate College of Pharmacists (FPCPHARM), and a Paul Harris Fellow (PHF), one of Rotary International’s most prestigious honours for exceptional humanitarian service.

Beyond the healthcare sector, he has distinguished himself as an influential community leader and public policy advocate. He served as Worldwide President of the University of Benin Alumni Association and formerly chaired the University’s Integrated Enterprises. He also represented Nigeria’s South-South region at the 2014 National Conference and currently serves as a member of the Delta State Advisory and Peace Building Council.

His contributions to community development are equally noteworthy. As former President General of the Ndokwa National Union (NNU), he spearheaded humanitarian interventions, including the deployment of multi-million naira medical relief materials to flood-displaced persons across affected communities.

Enebeli is also widely respected for his advocacy for the development and integration of indigenous herbal resources into Nigeria’s formal healthcare system, a cause he has championed over the years.

Industry observers believe his wealth of experience in healthcare administration, corporate governance, community leadership and public policy will add significant value to BEL Dialogue as it seeks to establish itself as a leading platform for robust public engagement and solution-driven conversations.

BEL Dialogue, an initiative of Bel Media Consult Limited, publishers of the online news platforms Ndokwa Reporters (www.ndokwareporters.com) and The Brief (www.thebrief.com.ng), was established to serve as a credible audience-participatory forum for robust discussions on governance, leadership, economic development, public policy, and other issues of national and global significance.

The platform was formally unveiled during the 12th Anniversary celebration of Ndokwa Reporters in August 2025 and has since emerged as a strategic engagement platform connecting policymakers, industry leaders, development experts and citizens. The second edition of BEL Dialogue is scheduled to hold on Thursday, July 30, 2026, with stakeholders expected to deliberate on topical issues affecting society and national development.
