BREAKING NEWS: Sister of Former Power Minister Adelabu, Her Twins Freed from Kidnappers

Nigerian Police Officers have rescued Olaide Busayo Adegoke John-Paul, the sister of ex-Minister of Power Adebayo Adelabu, along with her 12-year-old twin sons, Peter and Paul.

BIGPEN NIGERIA (https://bigpenngr.com) reports the rescue mission, which involved a fierce gun battle, took place around 7:30 pm on Saturday.

Police were said to have engaged the kidnappers in a firefight that resulted in the neutralization of at least two suspects, with others fleeing the scene wounded.

Sources, including reports from Channels TV and African Independent Television (AIT), confirm that the victims were abducted on the morning of June 3, 2026, while Olaide was on her way to drop her children at school.

The police operation is believed to have been a coordinated effort to bring the captives to safety and dismantle the criminal gang responsible.
