Davido to Headline the 2026 Official FIFA World Cup Countdown Concert in U.S.

Afro beat superstar Davido, has been onfirmed as one of the headline performers at the official countdown concert for the FIFA world cup 2026.

The song “no place like home” by Davido is a collab with Major Lazer + Nelly Furtado. Its on the 2026 official FIFA world cup album.

The singer expressed delight to be honoured with such a great opportunity to represent Nigeria and Africa continent at the FIFA world cup 2026.

The event will be jointly hosted by the United states, Mexico and Canada and will serve as a major prelude to the world’s biggest football tournament , as organisers said the concert is to celebrate the intersection of football, culture and music.

The singer has no doubt done well for himself over the years, some of his other achievements include the award winning of the Best International Act at the Liberian Entertainment Award and the official induction into the black music and entertainment walk of fame in Atlanta.
