‎Former President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan has called on Nigerians to embrace unity, sacrifice, and collective responsibility as Muslims across the 0 and the world celebrate Eid-el-Kabir.

‎In his goodwill message to commemorate the Islamic via his official X handle, Jonathan urged citizens to reflect on the enduring lessons of faith, obedience, and sacrifice symbolized by Eid-el-Kabir, stressing that trust in God and selflessness remain critical in overcoming national challenges.

‎The former president noted that Nigeria is currently facing difficult times that require not only prayers but also deliberate actions from citizens, especially in promoting peace, security, and national cohesion.

‎According to him, the country’s diversity should be seen as a strength capable of driving progress rather than a source of division.

‎Jonathan further emphasized that genuine nation-building demands devotion, patriotism, and a sense of duty from every Nigerian, adding that the spirit of Eid-el-Kabir perfectly reflects those values.

‎He called on Nigerians to stand together with renewed determination to protect the nation and work towards a safer, more stable, and prosperous future for all.

‎The former president concluded his message with prayers for God’s blessings upon Nigeria and protection over the Federal Republic.
