Delta 2027: Isoko South Boss Congratulates Onwo, Ashakah, Idhoveh for Winning APC Assembly Tickets

The chairman of Isoko South Local Government Council of Delta State, Friday Ovoke Warri Warri, Wednesday congratulated winners of the Delta State House of Assembly All Progressive Congress, (APC) primaries in Isoko Land.

Specifically, Warri congratulated the winners of Isoko North constituency, Isoko South constituency I and Isoko South constituency II in the forthcoming 2027 House of Assembly elections.

Ferguson Onwo, incumbent member representing Isoko South constituency II and former majority leader in the house, Lucky Idhoveh, Isoko South constituency 1 and Maro Orobosa Ashakah, Isoko North constituency were Wednesday declared winners of the APC house of Assembly primaries through affirmation as an unopposed candidates for the 2027 general elections.

Warri, described the APC as a unified and composed organisation, noting that the well-organised elections expressed
this reality.

“As a unified and harmonious family, we have successfully executed a free, fair, and credible primary election. I offer my warmest congratulations to this exceptional trio who will represent our party in the three constituencies of the Isoko nation in the forthcoming general elections for the Delta State House of Assembly.

“This election is considered a family affair, and as such, there are no winners or losers. We are one united political family.” Warri stated.

Meanwhile, the Isoko South council chairman, Friday Ovoke Warri has congratulated former chairman of Isoko South and grand patron of the Isoko Development Union (IDU), Iduh Amadhe on his birthday anniversary.

In a statement personally signed by Warri, he felicitated with the former President General of IDU.

“I cordially felicitate our esteemed Father and Leader, High Chief Idu Amaidhe, the immediate past President General of Isoko Development Union (IDU), on the occasion of his birthday anniversary today, 20th May 2026. As you celebrate today, we pray that God Almighty bestows upon you greater wisdom, prosperity, and honor to remain a prominent voice in the Isoko Nation and worldwide.

“Your unwavering resolve and altruistic efforts have consistently fostered peace, stability, growth, and progress among the Isoko Nations, setting a commendable example for other ethnic groups in Delta State, and your extensive leadership experience will continue to benefit us. Appreciation is extended to you for consistently bringing pride to the Isoko Nation. Wishing you a happy birthday and a celebration in good health.”
