NSCDC Apprehends 10 Vandals, Kidnappers in Abuja
The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has arrested ten suspects linked to vandalism of critical infrastructure, kidnapping, theft, and related offences across the FCT and neighbouring states.
Confirming this, NSCDC National Public Relations Officer, ACC Afolabi Babawale, said thag the operation, carried out by the CG’s Special Intelligence Squad in collaboration with the CG’s Crack Squad, followed credible intelligence and reinforced operational directives of Commandant-General, Prof. Ahmed Abubakar Audi, mni, OFR.
Recovered exhibits include vandalised armoured cables and dangerous weapons. The suspects will be charged to court.
The Corps reiterates its zero-tolerance stance against economic sabotage and remains committed to protecting lives and national assets.
