APC Conducts 5-Day Course Training for Treasury Department Staff

The Progressive Institute, TPI, a Think Tank arm of the ruling All Progressive Congress, (APC), on Monday commenced a 5-Day Course for members of staff in the treasury Department of its National Headquarters, Abuja.

The training, which is holding at TPI Boardroom in Abuja is scheduled between Monday 1st and Friday 5th December, 2025 focusing on mastering budgeting, forecasting, planning and cost/budgetary control for organizational excellence.

In his opening remarks, the Director General of TPI, Lanre Adebayo, PhD lauds the APC National Chairman, Professor Nentawe Yilwatda for considering the need to empower the party’s treasury Department with more knowledge.

TPI, Abuja, Wale Abideen,quoted the DG as saying ‘this is the first time a political leadership is giving its training arm the opportunity to train her party members.

Dr Adebayo commended the APC executive under the leadership of Prof. Nentawe, describing them as intellectual political class.

He noted that Welcome speech by the Director General, The Progressive Institute Dr Lanre Adebayo.

“I appreciate the staff of The Progressive Institute, this Institute has the best and most hardworking staff any Institute can have.
I appreciate specially the Director of Programs, Malami Sanusi Kiru, the Director of Finance, Dr. Ibor Bassey and the Director of Legal Services, Barister Ego Queen-Ezuma who have worked tirelessly for the success of this training”
