17 Suspected Internet Fraudsters Arrested in Nasarawa by EFCC

Operatives of the Abuja Zonal Directorate of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission on Tuesday, July 17, 2025 arrested 17 suspected internet fraudsters in Abuja.

They were apprehended at Mararaba area of Nasarawa state following credible intelligence about their suspected involvement in internet-related crime.

Items recovered from them include five cars, 20 phones and four laptops.

The suspects will soon be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded, the anti graft agency, said in a statement on Tuesday.
