As Christians across the country celebrate the Easter season, Senator Ned Nwoko, representing Delta North in the National Assembly, has extended warm greetings to all Christians in Nigeria, calling for reflection, renewal, and unity.

In a message released on Easter Sunday, the Senator emphasized the significance of the season as a time of deep spiritual reflection and renewal.

He called on Nigerians to embrace the core values of Easter—peace, compassion, and hope—as tools for fostering stronger national unity and healing divisions.

“As we mark the Easter season, I extend warm greetings to all Christians across Nigeria,” Senator Nwoko said.

“May this period of reflection and renewal strengthen our shared commitment to peace, compassion and national unity.”

Senator Nwoko said that Nigerian citizens should come together in the spirit of Easter to support one another and work toward a more inclusive and prosperous nation.

The Senator, known for his advocacy in education, youth empowerment, and malaria eradication, also encouraged Christians to draw inspiration from the sacrifice and resurrection of Christ by showing love and empathy to those around them.

“Let this Easter be a reminder of the power of sacrifice, hope, and the unifying strength of love,” he added.

As the celebrations continue, Senator Nwoko urged Nigerians of all faiths to use the opportunity to pray for the country’s peace and stability, and to renew their commitment to building a just and united society.

Easter, one of the most important events in the Christian calendar, commemorates the resurrection of Jesus Christ and symbolizes renewal, faith, and redemption.
