BREAKING: Tinubu Declares State Of Emergency In Rivers State

President Bola Tinubu has declared a state of emergency in Rivers with effect from today, Tuesday, March 18, 2025.

He made the declaration in a nationwide address just concluded

He announced the immediate removal of Governor Sim Fubara and his deputy and appointed a military administrator to run the state for an initial period of six months.
