ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, Force Public Relations Officer (FPRO), will on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, deliver a keynote lecture at the 6th convention of the Delta Online Publishers Forum (DOPF) in Asaba, the Delta state capital.

The lecture would hold at Vienna International Hotel, Asaba.

ACP Adejobi was carefully considered and selected as the guest speaker after much consultations based on his enviable pedigree as a round peg in a round hole, DOPF said, in a statement on Saturday.

The 6th convention lecture entitled: “Security Challenges in Nigeria: Finding Local Implementable Solutions” is expected to provoke national discourse on the security challenges confronting the country.

Panelists drawn from experienced personalities in different spheres of life including background knowledge on the issue of security, architecture and management have been penciled down to discuss the lecture paper.

A statement signed by Chairman and Secretary of the forum, Mr. Emmanuel Enebeli and Shedrack Onitsha, respectively, said; “Our decision was based on his vast experience in security and public affairs and being a communication strategist of repute.

“We are confident that his insights will be invaluable to our members and participants.

The statement expressed optimism that the 6th convention lecture would find “meaningful and vital solutions that will help in entrenching an implementable solution to security challenges, not only in Delta State, but in Nigeria in general”.

It added that the panelists will be unveiled in a later date.

ACP Adejobi is a Bachelor of Science in Archaeology and Geography (Combined Honours) degree holder and a Master’s Degree holder in African Studies from the University of Ibadan.

His academic background provided the foundation for a career in the Nigeria Police Force, focusing on conflict management.

He is also a Ph.D. student in Peace, Security, and Humanitarian Studies at the University of Ibadan and holds an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Peace and Security Management from Prowess University in Delaware, USA.
