Just 24 hours after its inauguration, the Operational Team of the Senior Executive Assistant on Pipeline and Anti-Bunkering Surveillance to Senator Joel Onowakpo-Thomas, led by Civilian General Mayor Blessing, has intercepted a suspected tanker conveying adulterated AGO.

BIGPEN NIGERIA (https://bigpenngr.com) reports that the tanker conveying suspected adulterated Automated Gas Oil (AGO) was apprehended in Ozoro, Isoko North local government area of Doelta State, and taken to the nearest Nigerian Army Base, led by Lieutenant Charles Dashwep, for further action.

“We will not tolerate any form of illegal oil bunkering in Isokoland,” said Civilian ‘General’ Mayor Blessing.

“This arrest is a warning signal to all those involved in this illegal activity to disengage immediately or face the consequences.”, he said.

Upon Interrogation, the driver of the tanker claimed to have loaded the product for Blue Field and Matrix depots, but further investigation is underway to determine the extent of their involvement, Civilian ‘General’ Mayor added.

“This is just the beginning,” said Lieutenant Charles Dashwep, said while receiving the apprehended tanker and suspect from the anti-bunkering taskforce.

He said; “We will work tirelessly to ensure that those involved in illegal oil bunkering are brought to justice.”
