Monoyo Edon Congratulates Warri South LGA Chairman, Vice, Harps On Need To Prioritize People’s Interest

In a show of sportsmanship, former aspirant for the Warri South LGA chairmanship, Mr. Monoyo Edon, has congratulated the newly sworn-in Executive Chairman, Comr. Isaac Oritseweyinmi Agbateyiniro, on his assumption of office.

Edon, who contested for the same seat, extended his warm wishes to Agbateyiniro and his Vice, Hon. Kingsley Edafiadjebre, saying, “The period of electioneering is over, paving way for participatory governance… Indeed the cap fits you, and as someone who keenly contested for that seat, I congratulate you because at the end of the day, it is God who gives power.”

Edon urged Agbateyiniro to prioritize the people’s interest above personal interests and work with everyone, including critics, to deliver on his constitutional duties.

He expressed his expectation that Agbateyiniro would help implement Governor Sheriff Oborevwori’s M.O.R.E Agenda in Warri South, especially in the island communities.
