FEPO’s Rector, Dr Okoro Pays Tribute To Late Legal Icon, Kenneth Gbagi
Dr. Duke Okoro, Rector of Federal Polytechnic Orogun, Delta State, has paid glowing tribute former Minister of State Education, late Olorogun Kenneth Gbagi, Eqs.
Dr Okoro offered his condolences to the renowned legal icon’s family at his country home in Oginibo, Ughelli South local government area of the state on Saturday.
He eulogised Gbagi’s contributions to the legal profession and nation, describing him as a great philanthropist, industrious, and a shining star in Urhobo Land.
“Chief Kenneth Gbagi was a great Philanthropist who was very Industrious and one of the greatest in Urhobo Land and will be greatly missed”, he said.
Dr. Okoro urged the family to unite and continue Gbagi’s legacy of excellence, service, and humanity.
He prayed for the repose of his soul and prayed God to grant the family the fortitude to bear the loss.
The family appreciated the gesture, noting that it reflected the high esteem in which Gbagi was held by the academic community and beyond. Chief Hope Gbagi, eldest brother of Late Kenneth Gbagi spoke on behalf of the family.
The visit witnessed other members of the family including the eldest son, Chief Emuobo Kenneth Gbagi, Chief Mrs Sherry Gbagi, Chief Steve Sokoh JP, Mrs Onanasan Gbagi Odedina, (3rd child),and Edeogheneseri Gbagi (2nd son).
