Ute-Okpu Elites Hails Emergence Of Odigwe As PDP Chairmanship Flag Bearer

The Concerned Ute-Okpu Elites, a socio-cultural group in Ika North East Local Government Area of Delta State, has congratulated Mr. Monday Odigwe on his emergence as the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Chairmanship flag bearer for the forthcoming local council election.

“We have explicit confidence in his ability to deliver as the Chairmanship candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Ika North East Local Government Area. We know that Mr. Monday Odigwe has the capacity, the wisdom, competence and ability to deliver. Ikeogwu however commended the PDP family for zoning the slot to Ute-Okpu, a fast-growing community, and recognizing the contributions of Ute-Okpu Kingdom to her electoral victories in the past, while also expressing gratitude to the immediate past Governor of Delta State, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa, for his fatherly guidance that ensured a seamless exercise.

He also praised the leadership disposition of PDP stakeholders and leaders in the local government area for aligning with the choice of Mr. Monday Odigwe as the flag bearer, just as the group expressed special appreciation to all the political leaders from Ute-Okpu for speaking in one voice.
