Group Pushes For Fresh Faces In Delta PDP Leadership

A political group, Concerned Delta South Youths for Good Governance, has called the Delta State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to ensure fresh faces in the leadership of the party in the state.

Specifically, the group sued for a renewal in leadership that embraces the energy and vision of young, vibrant leaders.

President of the group, Mr. Aluya Okodili, in a statement on Tuesday, said that the focus of the call is on reshaping the party’s direction and aligning it with the aspirations and needs of the state’s youthful population.

They said the position of Delta State Chairman of the PDP is seen as crucial in shaping the party’s trajectory and influencing the state’s political dynamics, adding that with the majority of Delta State’s population being comprised of young people, is essential for the party’s leadership to reflect this demographic reality.
