Henry Ofa Hails Okowa Over PDP’s Guber Victory

The Chairman, Field Operation Committee of the People’s Democratic Party PDP in Delta state, Chief Henry Ofa, has commended Governor Ifeanyi Okowa for ensuring his party, the PDP won the last Saturday governorship election in the state.

Ofa, in a terse message addressed to Governor Okowa, described the PDP’s victory as attestation of the governor’s ‘unrivaled development strides and good governance since 2015’.

The PDP governorship candidate at the election, Rt.Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori polled 360,234 votes to emerged winner as declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

Ofa, who addressed himself as the ‘governor’s son’, also commended the leadership of the party and members of the field operations committee for the victory.

He wrote: “On behalf of the Delta State PDP Field Operations Committee, I heartily congratulate and commend you for ensuring the resounding victory of our party, the PDP, in the March 18 elections.

“No doubt, the success of our party is a clear attestation to your unrivaled development strides and good governance since 2015. Indeed, you have shown true committee to the well-being of Delta State and it’s citizens by ensuring the success of our party.

“I also thanked the state leadership of our party and commend members of the Field Operations committee for their hard work and commitment during the campaigns”.
