LP Candidate Pulls Plug On Reps Minority Leader, Elumelu’s Re-election Bid

Labour Party has dashed the hope of the Minority Leader of the House of Representatives, Ndudi Elumelu, to return to the House of Representatives for fourth term.

Elumelu who represents Aniocha/Oshimili constituency lost last Saturday election to the candidate of Labour Party, Mr. Ngozi Okolie.

Okolie polled 53,879 votes across the four local government areas of the constituency to defeat Elumelu who polled 33,456 voted.
