Army Sets Ablaze Vessel Caught By Tompolo Loading Illegal Crude Oil In Delta

Soldiers of the Nigerian Army are said to have set fire to a vessel that Tompolo’s Tantita Security Services Limited had intercepted while transporting illicit crude oil in the Warri and Escravos rivers.

The troops of the Nigerian military burned MT Deima, a multi-million naira vessel with the IMO number 7210525, on fire in the Warri River, Delta state.

On October 10, 2022, the vessel was stopped while loading illicit crude oil.
