Osinbajo Hospitalised, Undergoes Surgery

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, has been hospitalised after sustaining injury in his leg.

www.bigpenngr.com reports that Osinbajo media aide, Laolu Akande disclosed this on Saturday.

He said that the Vice President would undergone a surgical procedure at the undisclosed hospital.

According to him, the development is a result of recurrent pain in the Vice President’s leg probably from an injury he sustained while playing squash.

The Vice President’s spokesman, however, stated that Professor Osinbajo’s doctors would give an update on the treatment at a later time.

“VP Osinbajo is in the hospital today for a surgical procedure on account of a recurrent pain in the leg possibly sustained from an injury while playing squash. His doctors would give an update of the treatment later today”, he Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity Office of the Vice President, Laolu Akande, through his verified Twitter handle @akandeoj, tweeted.

Osinbajo, also confirmed his health status via his verified Twitter account.
