PDP National Chairman Crisis: ‘I Am Not Afraid Of Court’ – Secondus After He Was Sacked

The embattled national chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Uche Secondus, has reacted to the High Court ruling which Sacked him as National Chairman of the main opposition party.
BIGPENNGR reports that Secondus who reacted this night, Monday, said he is not afraid to defend himself in court.
A High Court sitting in Port Harcourt, had restrained Secondus him from parading himself a member and chairman of the opposition party.
But reacting to this, the party leader, in a statement by his Special Adviser on Media, Ike Abonyi, stated that the PDP is bigger than any individual.
The statement read: “If Secondus and the party are taken to court they will defend themselves.
“PDP and Secondus are not afraid of court. This party is a child of history, owned by Nigerians, bigger than any individual or group including desperadoes.”
Recalls Justice O. Gbasam at the State High Court sitting in Degema Local Government Area of the state, had restrained Prince Uche Secondus from parading himself as the National Chairman of the party.
The judge who gave the order, also approved the suspension of Secondus as a member of the party pending the hearing and determination of motion on notice for interlocutory injunction.
The order followed a complaint brought before the court by some aggrieved members of the party.
