The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) has insisted that there is currently no increment in the ex-depot price of the Premium Motor Spirit released in the month of March.

BIGPENGR understands the insistence is coming against the backdrop of reports that the Petroleum Products Pricing Regulatory Agency (PPPRA), a subsidiary of NNPC had increased the pump price of petrol to N212.16 per litre.

NNPC announced its position on Friday morning via its Twitter handle.

Multiple reports in the media suggest that NNPC had consistently debunked plans to increase price of fuel anytime soon in the country.

But a document released by PPPRA and seen by BIGPENNGR Friday morning indicates that there is a new pump price of the product.
