JUST IN: Gunmen Abduct Trader In Delta

Unknown armed men have reportedly Kidnapped a female trader in Ughelli, Delta state.

The woman was seized from her Honda civic car while on her way to her shop around Otovwodo area of Ughelli town.

The victim was simply identified as Mrs. Akpezi Okpidi.

The 33 years old victim was reportedly waylaid by hoodlums who drove a black tinted GLK Benz along the Ughelli Township Stadium axis of the community.

“She was heading to her shop when the hoodlums allegedly waylaid and forcefully took her to an unknown location”, a source said.

The source said that no gunshot was fired by the hoodlums who fled the scene with their victim through the Ughelli-Patani Expressway.

State Police Public Relation Officer, DSP Onome Onovwakpoyeya, confirmed the incident but declined further comment.
