BREAKING: Nigeria’s Foreign Affairs Minister Admitted To Hospital After Testing COVID-19 Positive

Mr. Geoffrey Onyeama, Nigeria’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, has been admitted to hospital after testing positive for coronavirus.

He was admitted Sunday afternoon after showing symptoms of the deadly virus.

Onyeama confirmed this via his verified twitter handle, saying it is his fourth test for the virus that came positive.

BIGPEN reports Onyeama, reportedly is the first Nigeria minister to have tested positive and declared his status since the outbreak of the virus in the country.

He tweeted: “Did my fourth Covid-19 test yesterday at the first sign of a throat irritation and unfortunately this time it came back positive.

“That is life! Win some lose some. Heading for isolation in a health facility and praying for the best”, he tweeted.
