JUST IN: Wike Dislodges Armed Security Men At Nunieh’s Home, Whisks Her Away

Governor Nyesom Wike has stormed the security besieged residence of a former Acting Managing Director of the Interim Management Committee of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), Dr. Joi Nunieh, ordering the armed security details to leave the premises with immediate effect.
The governor, according to reports, rescued Nunieh from her home where she was trapped for hours without leaving to Government House for debriefing.
Reports say Nunieh who was supposed to appear before the senate ad-hoc committee probing NDDC financial recklessness, had told the governor how she was held up in her house for hours.
The security men reportedly stormed her residence around 4:am, according to her narration in Arise TV programme. She said that the gunmen forced their way into her residence and had wanted to arrest her for reasons yet to be fathom.
She said that the arrival of the governor at the wee hours of the day saved the situation.
It was not clear on whom order the security details acted but the former NDDC’s acting managing director recently made furry of allegations against Niger Delta Affairs Minister, Godswill Akpabio who has been in the eyes of the storm over N81.5 billion fraud rocking NDDC.
