Nigeria Records Surge In COVID-19, Adds 681 In Single-day

Nigeria has recorded a huge surge in the cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) in the country with additional 681 new confirmed cases.

The country also lose five persons to COVID from the record released by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) on Thursday night.

According to NCDC, till date, 14,554 cases have been confirmed, 4,494 recoveries made and 387 deaths recorded in 35 states and the Federal Capital Territory.

The 681 new cases are reported from 17 states, the agency said.
