BREAKING: Kano Disappears From COVID-19 Daily Radar As Nigeria Records 176 Cases

Kano State on Saturday did not appear on the radar of daily coronavirus (COVID-19) figures released by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).

In the last chart released on Friday, Kano recorded eight cases, but on Saturday it has none.

BIGPEN reports there have been fear that Kano would blow up with cases following incidents of “strange deaths” that had occurred in the densely populated metropolis. The state has been under lock down since last broadcast of President Muhammad Buhari.

In its twitter page on Saturday, NCDC announced that Nigeria recorded 176 new cases of the COVID-19 with Lagos bringing 95 of the new infections, while Oyo State recorded 31 of them.

The chart shows Nigeria on Saturday recorded five more deaths from the Coronavirus Disease.

As of Saturday night, 5621 cases of COVID-19 were reported in Nigeria with discharged cases pegged at 1472 and 176 deaths.
