Resident Doctors Call Off Day Old Strike In Delta

Doctors under the auspices of Association of Resident Doctors at the Federal Medical Centre (FMC), Asaba, Delta State, has called off its day old strike action.

The strike was declared just 24 hours ago following the incessant harassment of doctors by security operatives enforcing lockdown directive in the state.

But rising from Emergency General meeting convened over the assault and presided over by the President, Dr Nwabunor Osifo Patrick. said that the strike action is hereby suspended, Dr Awunor Alexander chidubem, image maker of the ministry said in a terse statement.
