COVID-19: Nigeria’s Infection Figures Hit 318 With 13 New Cases

Nigeria has recorded upsurge of patients infected with coronavirus disease (COVID-19) with 13 new cases reported from Lagos, Delta and Kano states respectively.

Of the 13 new cases, Lagos got 11 cases, Delta has 1 additional while kano has 1 as at 9:30pm 11th April with 318 overall confirmed cases of the virus across the country.

Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), which confirmed this in a tweet late Saturday night, said that so far 70 persons who earlier tested positive to the virus had been successfully treated and discharged from isolation centres.

The agency, however, said that since the outbreak of the disease, the country has recorded 10 deaths across the 19 states with confirmed cases of the virus.
