Nigeria’s COVID-19 Positive Soars Into 210 With 20 New Cases, 4 Deaths

The number of persons infected with coronavirus disease in Nigeria, has increased to 210 following the confirmation of 20 new cases and additional two deaths by the Centre for Disease Control, Friday night.

Of the number, Lagos recorded 11, FCT 3, 3 in Edo, 2 in Osun and 1 in Ondo, which just recorded its first case.

According to the agency, two new deaths have been recorded in Lagos and Edo States, bring the number of deaths so far to four.

Announcing the figures, NCDC said that as at 10:30 pm, 3rd April there are 210 confirmed cases of #COVID19 reported in Nigeria with 25 persons treated and discharged.

BIGPEN reports, out of the 25 patients evacuated and discharged after series of re-testing, Lagos hits 24 Friday with four (4) more discharged including a mother and her baby from its facility at Yaba.
