BREAKING: Lagos Announces Third Case Of Coronavirus

The Lagos State Ministry of Health has announced another case of the fast spreading Coronavirus in Nigeria.

Announcing this on its Twitter handle on Tuesday, the Ministry of Health has it that the latest case, a 30-year-old female, came in from the United Kingdom on March 13, 2020.
According to the ministry, during self-isolation, she developed symptoms of coronavirus, which tested positive.

The Ministry said the patient is now receiving treatment at the Infectious Disease Hospital in Yaba area of the state.

It said contact tracing of passengers and others the patient may have come in contact with has commenced.

This makes it the third case in the country, apart from the index Italian case and his cntact in Ogun State.
