JUST IN: Dino Melaye Reacts As Appeal Court Nullifies His Election

Senator Dino Melaye has reacted to the Appeal Court ruling which upheld the nullification of his election as senator representing Kogi West on Friday.

Melaye who reacted via his verified twitter handle, expressed optimism of winning the reelection contest ordered by court and asked his supporters to remain steadfast with him.

His election declared by Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, was challenged in the Election Petition Tribunal by former Senator Smart Adeyemi.

I just lost my election at the Appeal Court and Fresh election ordered. In all things I give God the Praise. He who started a good thing will definitely complete it. I ask my supporters to be law abiding as we shall always overcome. To God be the Glory.
