9th Senate: Lawan Announces Appointment Of Principal Officers

The President of the senate, Sen.Ahmed Ibrahim Lawan has announced the appointment of principal officers of senate following a letter from the two leading political parties.

According to the letter transmitted to the Senate President and read in the floor of the House from the All Progressive Congress (APC), Sen. Abdullahi Yahaya is the Senate Leader, Deputy Senate Leader is Sen. Ajayi Borrifice, the Chief Whip is Sen. Orji Uzor Kalu, while Deputy Chief Whip, Sen. Abdullahi Sabi

From the PDP, Lawan announced Minority Leader as Sen. Enyinanya Abaribe, Deputy Minority Leader, Sen. Emmanuel Bwacha, Minority Whip, Sen. Philip Aduda and Deputy Minority Whip as Sen. Sabi Yau.
