God Will Intervene In Nigeria’s Security Challenges – Otuaro

Delta State Deputy Governor, Kingsley Otuaro says Christians must redouble their prayers for God to surmount the security challenges confronting the nation.
Otuaro spoke at the 2nd session of the 7th Synod of the Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion) held at St Paul’s Anglican Cathedral, Oleh, Delta State on Saturday.
The deputy governor who represented Governor Ifeanyi Okowa at the event however said government must sought local and global collaboration to conquer the crisis for growth and development.
“The indices on security, development, gross domestic product and planning are not favourable. With redoubled prayers, God can positively rewrite the security and development narrative of Nigeria”, Otuaro said.
While appreciating the support the Church had given the Delta State government, Otuaro urged leaders and minister of the gospel not to relent in being the change the people needed.
The event was attended by former President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, who delivered a keynote address titled “Mobilising Nigeria’s Human and Natural Resources For National Development”.
