Alhaji Shot Dead In Attempt To Scare Robbers With A Dagger In Warri

Suspected armed robbers has shot dead a man who drew a dagger to scare his attackers after he made some transactions in a new generation bank in Warri, Delta State.

BIGPEN ONLINE learnt that the victim simply identified as an Alhaji was robbed of the sum N700, 000 around Jakpa junction area few minutes after he left a new generation bank where he withdrew the sum.

According to an eyewitness, the yet-to-be identified Alhaji was trailed from the bank by the gunmen to the Jakpa junction axis of the PTI road, where he was shot dead.

Sources said that the unknown Alhaji in attempt to scare the robbers after he was intercepted by the robbers who drove a Toyota Sienna car, drew out a dagger from his pocket but irked by his actions, the robbers reportedly open fire on him and killed him instead.
