BREAKING! Kayode Fayemi Takes Oath Of Office As Ekiti Governor

Kayode Fayemi, Nigeria’s former Minister of Solid Minerals Development has been sworn-in as new Governor of Ekiti State.

Fayemi is assuming office after the tenure of the state former governor, Ayodele Fayose elapsed Monday night.

He was sworn in alongside his Deputy, Bisi Egbeyemi, at about 12:20, on Tuesday afternoon by the Chief Judge of Ekiti State, Justice Ayodeji Simeon Daramola in Ado-Ekiti, the state capital.
