Buhari To Governors: I Give You Before Christmas To Pay Workers Salaries

Worried by public outcry of hardship in the country, President Muhammadu Buhari on Monday ordered thirty-six governors to ensure prompt payment of workers’ salaries in their respective states before Christmas.

The President made the assertion in a meeting with the governors in Abuja on Monday.

Personal Assistant on social media to the President, Mr. Bashir Ahmad disclosed this via his twitter handle @AhmadBashir on Monday after the meeting.

“President Muhammadu Buhari has during the meeting with state governors, charged them to ensure that they pay all the salaries owed workers before Christmas”.
