BREAKING! Alex Ekwueme Is Dead

Former Vice President Dr. Alex Ifeanyichukwu Ekwueme is dead.

He passed on Sunday, 19th November 2017 at 10:00 pm in a London clinic.

Igwe of Oko, HRH Prof Laz Ekwueme confirmed this in a terse message announcing the peaceful passage early hours of Monday morning.

Until his death, he was the patriarch of the Ekwueme family of Oko, Anambra State.

Recall that Ekwueme was flown to the United Kingdom last week after he collapsed in his Enugu home and was admitted into Memfys Neurosurgery Hospital, Enugu.

He was offered to be flown abroad by President Muhammadu Buhari for further treatment.
