Suspected Ritualists Beheads 25 Years Old Girl In Delta Contrary To Police Claims

Image seen by BigPen Online shows that the unidentified twenty-five years old girl reportedly found dead at a bush path along the Sedco Community in Uvwie Local Government Area of Delta State was actually beheaded contrary to claims by the police that there was no violent injury on her body.

Reports says suspected ritualists had allegedly killed her and dumped her body in a bush path in the community.

The decomposing corpse was discovered on Monday this week, a source said adding that after the discovery the police were called to remove the remains which has been deposited in the mortuary by the Police in Enerhen.

Local police had told DAILY Post that there was no sign of violent attack on the body of the girl as all body parts were in tact but pictures of her seen by BigPen Online indicates the contrary.

Though no resident agreed to offer information to the press, our source said parents have cautioned their children against late night movements.

But when contacted, the Enerhen Divisional Police Officer, CSP Ibrahim Hassan Galadima declined comments on the matter but a police source who craved anonymity, said “There was actually a case of sudden and unnatural death, SUD in Sedco”.

“A girl of about twenty five years was killed and the body dumped at the bush path in Sedco Community. There was no sign of violent attacks on her but we suspect she may have been killed by ritualists.”

Also Contacted, Delta State Acting Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Andrew Aniamaka confirmed the report saying, “it was a case of Sudden and Unnatural Death.”

The Police image maker noted that the matter was reported at the Enerhen Police Division by the Sedco Community Chairman identified as Friday.

“There were no marks on the body of one girl believed to be around twenty five years of age and this goes to say it is Sudden and Unnatural Death.”

While disclosing that the corpse was deposited at the Warri Central Hospital Morgue, DSP Aniamaka said,”the police has commenced investigation to ascertain the true cause of death of the girl.”
