Delta’s PETOOP Hails the Emergence of Obi, Iyovwaye as NDC’s Presidential and Governorship Candidates

The group, Peter Obi Our President, (PETOOP), has congratulated the presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr. Peter Obi, as well as the governorship candidate of the party in Delta state, Deacon. Chris Iyovwaye for their successful emergence as the presidential and governorship candidates respectively at the just concluded party primaries.

This was contained in a statement signed by its State Coordinator, Mr. Friday Shola Kunili and made available to newsmen by the state Director of Media and Communications, Prince Enahoro Erijoh, on Wednesday.

The group which was recently inaugurated in Delta state, said that the milestone is a testament to the unwavering commitment to principled leadership, integrity, competence as well as the collective aspiration for a new Nigeria and a better Delta State.

“Your emergence has rekindled hope among millions of Nigerians and Deltans who yearn for purposeful governance and transformational leadership”, Kunili said.

He expressed the commitment of the foremost grassroots movement to Mr. Peter Obi’s vision and the advancement of progressive politics.

The group assured the candidates that it have built a formidable and functional structure that has permeated all polling units across the 25 Local Government Areas of Delta State.

Kunili said; “Our network of dedicated members, coordinators, and supporters remains active, united, and fully mobilized to deliver victory in the 2027 general elections.

“We are confident that with your leadership, credibility, and people-oriented agenda, coupled with the strength of our grassroots presence, victory is assured.

“We stand ready to work tirelessly alongside all stakeholders to ensure that the message of hope, accountability, good governance, and national renewal reaches every community across Delta State and Nigeria.

“It is our prayer that this new chapter ushers in greater opportunities to serve the people and advance the cause of a prosperous, secure, and a united nation.

“Congratulations once again and best wishes as we march together towards Victory 2027!”.
