Sen. Joel-Onowakpo Congratulates Tinubu, Oborevwori on 3 Years Success Stories
Senator Joel-Onowakpo Thomas, representing Delta South Senatorial District, has congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as well as Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori on the auspicious occasion marking their 3rd year anniversary in office.
Senator Joel-Onowakpo, in a statement he personally signed, said under Governor Oborevwori’s visionary leadership, Delta State has witnessed remarkable strides aligned with the “MORE Agenda”.
He mentioned some of the notable achievements of the governor to include the execution of over 300 road projects, encompassing critical infrastructure such as flyovers and bridges in Warri and Effurun.
The federal lawmaker, also applauded the governor’s substantial investments in healthcare facilities, educational support through bursaries and scholarships, enhanced security, and empowerment programmes for youths, women, and small businesses.
“These initiatives have fostered inclusive development, connecting communities and unlocking economic opportunities across the state”, he enthused.
Joel-Onowakpo who doubles as Chairman, Senate Committee on Local Content, said at the national level, President Tinubu’s administration has demonstrated bold and transformative governance through landmark economic reforms, including the removal of fuel subsidies, unification of foreign exchange rates, tax reforms, and enhanced revenue generation.
He maintained that the measures put in place by Mr. President, have strengthened fiscal health, boosted non-oil revenues, attracted foreign investments, supported student loans, laid a foundation for sustained growth and Renewed Hope of Nigerians, with notable progress in infrastructure development and security enhancements.
“As you commence your fourth year in office, I wish Your Excellencies continued wisdom, strength, and divine grace to build upon these accomplishments, delivering even greater prosperity and Renewed Hope for M.O.R.E Agenda for the good people of Delta State and all Nigerians” the statement reads.
