Ndokwa Youth Forum To Nwaoboshi: ‘Leave Ned Nwoko Alone’, He’s A Shining Example Of A True Patriot

Published

on

The Ndokwa Youth Forum,  a notable socio-cultural group,  has risen in defense of Senator Ned Nwoko, urging his critic, Senator Peter Nwaoboshi, to desist from further attacks on the distinguished senator, describing him as a selfless patriot and a shining example of honest leadership.

The group described the Delta North Senatorial District’s senator as an honest and selfless patriot who cannot be compared with his predecessor, Senator Peter Nwaoboshi.

In a statement signed by the President of Ndokwa Youth Forum, Daniel Chukwuji and General Secretary, Eric Jude Oputa, the group expressed dismay over “recent baseless, unwarranted and reckless attacks by Nwaoboshi against Most Distinguished  Senator Ned Nwoko.”

The body noted that “no reasonable person would ever believe a statement credited to Chief Peter Nwaoboshi in a recent press interview where he falsely claimed to have championed equity as regards power rotation in Delta state especially Delta North commonly known as Anioma.”

Power sharing, according to Ndokwa Forum, “whether in the state or Delta North, has little or nothing to do with Nwaoboshi who, unlike Prince Ned Nwoko, is the least of persons to lay claim to the struggle for equitable  distribution of power in Delta.”

The press statement by the group reads, “Our attention has been drawn to a  reckless, inflammatory and  vexatious remarks credited to Senator Peter Nwaoboshi where he tried desperately to give false narrative about political developments in the state and Delta North, all mischievously concocted to score cheap political points.

“Even a kindergarten cannot take him serious over his reckless innuendos on the personality of the Most distinguished senator Ned Nwoko.

“Unarguably the most mischievous statement of Nwaoboshi in his   incoherent interview was his call that Delta North senate seat should  go to Ndokwa in 2027.

“Nwaoboshi’s  hypocritical proposition no doubt instantly provokes laughter across the streets of Delta North. It is so ridiculous that a man who never did anything tangible or noble in Anioma land with particular reference to Ndokwa, all through his controversial stay at the senate, other than selfish pursuits, would have the temerity to speak.

“Senatorial power rotation among the three federal constituencies of Delta North- Ndokwa/Ukwuani, Ika and Aniocha/Oshimili, have been reasonably balanced over the years with each part getting her fair share since 1999.This is clearly at variance with Nwaoboshi’s deceptive antics and divisive politics.

“More interesting is that the people of  Ndokwa/Ukwuani are generally happy with Senator Ned Nwoko and highly regard him as their active compassionate representative and a  good son who has been working for their collective aspirations and needs.

“His efforts on Okpai electricity project, advocacy on environmental degradation and improvement of the living standards of the people of the area have earned him admiration and endorsement as their high performing senator. A feat  Nwaoboshi could not achieve as senator, having completely squandered his time at the National Assembly, chasing personal gains to the detriment of Anioma people.

“It is unfortunate that a man who went to prison over a scandalous corruption case had not learnt how to be sober and comport himself with decency and decorum. Instead he is yet to have a break from his ugly past and remained bitter, plotting despicable intrigues and sowing seeds of discord everywhere.

“We also found Nwaoboshi’s postulation, conveyed through one of his minions that he is “educationally, politically and financially superior” to Senator Ned Nwoko, unashamedly bizarre and dishonest.

“It is common knowledge that Senator Ned Nwoko stands as a world – class scholar who attended two of the best universities in the world -University of Keele and King’s College University of London where he earned double honours and a masters degree in law.

“A proud solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales, who capped  his amazing legal career as the best black lawyer of African descent before he returned to Nigeria in 1999 to help shape Nigeria’s  democracy.

“On the other hand, Nwaoboshi is not known to possess any salutary or significant academic laurel that could in any way compare to Nwoko’s much celebrated scholarly pedigree.

“In politics, he is an opportunist who always rides on the back of people to gain undeserved relevance, using conspiracy and treachery. In contrast, Prince Ned Nwoko earned his mark in Nigeria’s political landscape when he was elected Member House of Representatives, Aniocha/ Oshimili  Federal Constituency as far back as 1999-2003, a time when Nwaoboshi was wallowing in servitude and political obscurity.

“Moreover, Ndokwa Forum views as childish and vain Nwaobosh’s reported boast about financial muscle. The poorest man on earth is a man without honour. Whatever Nwaoboshi has in his pocket means nothing. Unexplained wealth is worthless.

“We are aware that God tremendously blessed Prince Ned Nwoko since the 1990s till date with riches, earned  through dint of hard work and grace. He never made his wealth from  political office. We urge members of the  public to Google and compare the net worth of Prince Ned Nwoko with that of  Nwaoboshi.

“As  a highly successful businessman and  architect of Paris club loans refunds, he has selflessly used his God – given resources  to improve millions of  lives in his immediate environment and across the country.

“Today, he is the founder of a thriving centre of learning  and human empowerment, Sports University, which is first of its kind in Nigeria.

“Prince Ned Nwoko remains the  black African to visit the South Pole which is described as the end of the world. You have to be fearless with a high sense of adventure to undertake such a risky exploration.Ten Peter Nwaoboshis will not attempt such.

“Senator Ned Nwoko is incomparably endowed  above the antics  of  embittered Nwaoboshi  and his hirelings. No mortal  can curse a man whom God has blessed, ” the group said.
