Psychiatric Evaluation
Governor Hope Uzodinma
….Says his purported village’s invasion claim shows he and his band of alarmist have ‘gone mad’

Imo state government, has again accused the embattled president of Nigeria Labour Congress, Joe Ajaero of engaging in vile and vicious propaganda in a bid to assist the Labour Party in Saturday’s governorship election in the state

It also called for a psychiatric evaluation of Ajaero so as to ensure that he was not losing his sanity.

Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Declan Emelumba said he was suspecting that Ajaero has lost his mental balance following his allegation that Governor Hope Uzodimma invaded his village.

Emelumba who was responding to inquiries by the media concerning the baseless allegation declared, “it is obvious that Ajaero and his band of alarmists have gone mad and thrown every decorum to the wind.”

According to him, “because the embattled NLC president is a card carrying member of labour party, it’s not surprising that he is throwing up every possible blackmail and falsehood in the vain hope that such pranks will help his party on November 11th.”

The Commissioner wondered what it would profit the governor to invade the village of Ajaero when the man was bereft of any electoral value.

He also said it was laughable that there was no pictoral evidence anywhere or police report to corroborate such a weighty allegations an invasion of a village .

“ Indeed, this latest allegation that the governor attacked his village on November 4th can only pass for a cheap, baseless and vicious propaganda “.

Daily Sun quoted Emelumba to have said that it was necessary for Ajaero to stop his hallucinations and face squarely the consequences of the division he created in Imo NLC as a result of his partisan politics.

He said no amount of propaganda and falsehood would save Ajaero and his Labour Party from a crushing defeat by the APC on the governorship election.

The commissioner regretted that the once peaceful and respected NLC has been desecrated because of the ego of Ajaero, and urged the media to be circumspect of any claim by the embattled NLC and LP chieftain.
