20-year-old Who Gang Raped, Killed 50-year-old Woman After Receiving N100K From Ritualist Arrested
BIGPENNGR reports that the Police Command arrested the second suspect, one Akpoghene Idogo shoemaker, 20, after earlier arresting one.
Recalls the decomposing body of the woman who was declared missing by her family was found in a bush in the community on Tuesday.
The State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Ari Mohammed Ali, who earlier briefed newsmen of the incident, had said that one person has been arrested in connection with the killing.
But a following up statement by the Acting, Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Edafe Bright, said that another suspect has been arrested after the command had earlier arrested one Onos Simon over the alleged murder of Kenmore for ritual purpose.
Bright stated that following a tip off, the DPO Oleh, SP Paul Oboware on Friday 8th led a combined team of police/vigilante and some community leaders to Kwale town where the suspect was arrested.
He noted that the suspect had been on the run after the alleged murder of the victim alongside his friend who was earlier arrested.
Bright added that efforts to arrest the remaining suspects who contracted and paid them (suspects) the sum of N100,000 for the dastardly act are ongoing.
