Ochei Pays Condolence Visit To Home Of Former Speaker, ex-Acting Gov, Sam Obi

Former Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly and Executive Director, Maritime Labour & Cabotage Services at the board of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), Rt. Hon. Engr. Victor Onyekachi Ochei, on Monday, paid condolence visit to the home of late former speaker of the State Assembly and onetime acting governor, Prince Sam Obi.
BIGPENNGR reports that Ochei commiserated with the widow and family of the late lawmaker, who died on Saturday.

Obi who hailed from Ute-Okpu in Ika North East Local Government Area, died on Saturday, a few days to his 60th birth anniversary, after a brief illness.
Ochei, in a post made on his Facebook page said; “Today I paid a condolence visit to the family of my Brother and Colleague, Ex- Acting Governor And Former Speaker DTHA, His Excellency, Rt Hon Sam Obi.
“Though his passage came as a rude shock, it underscores the inevitability of death as a mortal obligation. His demise has robbed Delta State, Nigeria and humankind of a seasoned statesman.
“As a colleague at the Delta state legislature 2003 through 2015, he was humble, peaceful, compassionate, kind, decisive – all sterling attributes which made him a source of inspiration in diverse endeavours.
“Let’s take solace in the fact that he impacted lives positively while on earth especially his commitment to the Lord’s vineyard in his capacity as founder and pastor of the Asaba based Oracle of God Ministry.
“May his soul find eternal rest in the Almighty God’s abode”.
