Hundreds of women from Abraka community, country home of the APC governorship candidate, Chief Great Ovedje Ogboru have protested the results of the just concluded governorship election in Delta State.
The women mainly APC members who took to the streets of the University town around 10:15 am Friday with police escorts were led by Stephene Ogboru, a younger sister to the APC governorship candidate who was defeated by incumbent Governor, Dr Ifeanyi Okowa.

Sources said the protesters who earlier reported to the police in the area before commencing the protest were followed by police escort to avoid break down of law and order.
Some of the placards bore by the protesters read: “Great Ogboru is our Governor” “Niger Delta Youth, Women and Security for Movement for Ogboru, Delta state chapter reject INEC results” among others.
