Delta North Youths Shut Agbor for Hilary Ibegbulem, Hold Mega Rally for APC Ahead 2027
…As Okowa leads LG chairmen, others to event
Agbor was abuzz on Tuesday as thousands of youths from Delta North Senatorial District staged a solidarity rally to celebrate Dr. Hilary Obioma Ibegbulem and mobilize support for the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The rally, organized by De Frontiers Dynamic, began at Government Field, Agbor and terminated at Owa Model Secondary School along Owa Ekei Road.
The over 30-minute procession along the Lagos-Asaba expressway attracted residents, with over 250 buses conveying supporters from across Delta North.
At the venue, more than 35 support groups affiliated to Dr. Ibegbulem joined De Frontiers Dynamic to celebrate the popular philanthropist, turning the birthday into a political carnival.
The event had in attendance APC leaders, stakeholders and supporters, creating a festive and politically charged atmosphere.
Speaking at the event, former Governor of Delta State and APC senatorial candidate for Delta North, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, thanked Deltans for their continued support for APC candidates.
He congratulated Dr. Ibegbulem on his birthday, describing him as a worthy son of Anioma.
Okowa urged party members to work together for APC victory in 2027.
President of De Frontiers Dynamic, Mr. Tony Ujor, said the rally was organized to honour Ibegbulem and to strengthen grassroots mobilization for all APC flag bearers in the district.
Also speaking, Chairman of Ika North East, Hon. Monday Odigwe and Chairman of Ika South, Hon. Jerry Ehiwarior lauded the organizers for the massive turnout and for promoting unity among party faithful.
The climax of the day was the cutting of a special birthday cake designed with a lion replica, representing the strength and character of Dr. Hilary Ibegbulem.
