Ogorugba Hails Huge Turnout at Delta South APC Mega Meeting, Reaffirms Support for Tinubu, Oborevwori Continuity
The Chairman of Isoko North Local Government Area of Delta State, Hon. (Elder) Prince Godwin Ogorugba, has commended the massive turnout of leaders, elders, stakeholders, and party faithful at the Delta South All Progressives Congress (APC) Mega Stakeholders’ Meeting held on Thursday at the Brownhill Coliseum in Warri, Delta State.
Speaking with journalists shortly after the meeting, Ogorugba said the impressive turnout demonstrated the unity, resilience and commitment of APC members across the Delta South Senatorial District, Delta State and the country at large.
He noted that the renewed sense of unity and common purpose within the party would further deepen grassroots mobilisation and strengthen the APC’s preparations ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The Isoko North council chairman described the mega stakeholders’ meeting as one of the most significant gatherings of APC leaders and stakeholders in the district in recent times, stressing that such meetings were essential for fostering unity, strengthening party structures and ensuring effective mobilisation at the grassroots.
Ogorugba said, “What we have witnessed today is a clear demonstration of the strength, unity and commitment of the APC in Delta South. The massive turnout is an indication that our leaders, elders, stakeholders and party faithful are determined to work together towards the success of the party in 2027. We must sustain this unity and ensure that our differences do not become obstacles to our collective progress. The APC is a party with a clear direction, and it is our responsibility as leaders and members to take that message to the grassroots and mobilise our people effectively.
“The continuation of the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the federal level and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori in Delta State remains in the best interest of our people. We must therefore go back to our various local government areas, wards and units and intensify our mobilisation. Our people must understand the programmes and policies of the administration and why continuity is important. We have a responsibility to work collectively to deliver the President, the Governor and all APC candidates in the 2027 general elections. With unity, discipline and effective grassroots mobilisation, victory is achievable.”, Ogorugba said.
Ogorugba further called on APC members across the eight local government areas of Delta South to remain committed to the party and work together in the interest of its collective success in the forthcoming elections.
The Delta South APC Mega Stakeholders’ Meeting brought together party leaders, elders, stakeholders and faithful from the eight local government areas of the senatorial district for dialogue, renewed commitment and strategic planning ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The meeting was anchored by the Delta South Senatorial District Chairman of the APC, Emman Amgbaduba, and attended by the Delta State APC Chairman, Solomon Arenyeka; Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Emomotimi Guwor; as well as other leaders, stakeholders and party faithful from across the eight council areas of Delta South.
