UPDATED: Adeleke Opens Strong Lead Against APC, ADC Rivals in Osun Guber Poll
Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State is leading in the early results of today’s governorship election, according to INEC.
From the three results announced so far, Adeleke of the Accord Party won two, while his main opponent, Bola Oyebamiji of the APC, won one.
Adeleke carried Polling Unit 39 and Polling Unit 13 in Ward 4, Osogbo LGA. Oyebamiji won Polling Unit 003 in Alagba, Osogbo.
Below are the results for Unit 39, Ward 4, as declared by the Presiding Officer (PO), Oyeranmi Deborah:
AA: 1
Accord Party: 65
AAC: 1
ADC: 2
APC: 43
ZLP: 1
Below are the results for Unit 13, Ward 4:

However, in Polling Unit 003, Alagba, Oyebamiji polled 177 while Adeleke secured only 60 votes.
News Express reports that the African Democratic Congress (ADC) candidate, Najeem Salaam, received three votes, while candidates of the Action Alliance (AA), Young Progressives Party (YPP) and Peoples Redemption Party (PRP) scored one vote each.
