Isoko North Boss, Ex-Delta SSG Macaulay Commend Peaceful Conduct of APC LGA Consensus Congress

Chairmen of Isoko North and Isoko South Local Government Areas of Delta State, Godwin Ogorugba and former Secretary to the State Government, (SSG), Ovuzorie Macaulay on Saturday applauded the conduct of the All Progressive Congress, (APC), LGA consensus congress held at the council secretariat, Ozoro.

Ogorugba and Macaulay described the APC LGA congress as peaceful and congratulated the new LGA executives.

Speaking during the congress held at Isoko North council secretariat,Ozoro, the council chairman Godwin Ogorugba, commended what he called the peaceful disposition exhibited by stakeholders, party faithful and entire members of the APC, Isoko North chapter.

‎Ogorugba congratulated the newly elected executive which had Omonakome Sunday as the consensus chairman-elect and other elected Excos of the party.

‎Ogorugba however reiterated the consensus congress eagerness in complementing the peace that has been the bedrock of Isoko North, adding that with the orderly disposition exhibited by party stakeholders, faithful and members shows that the high level of unity existed among party faithful and the entire leadership of the party in Isoko North.

The council chairma, congratulated the newly elected consensus chairman, Omonakome Sunday and his Excos and urged party faithful, members and the entire residence of Isoko North to continue to rally round the candidacy of President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and governor Sherriff Oborewvori come 2027.

‎”I am overwhelmed with the orderliness and maturity showcased by party leaders, party faithful and the entire members of our great Party APC, in electing executives that will pilot the affairs of the party for the next transition, it’s a show of resilience and commitment dedicated to the Renewed Hope for MORE Agenda of our ever working Governor Rt. Hon Sheriff Oborewvori.”, Ogorugba said.

Also speaking, the former Secretary to the State Government, (SSG), Ovuzorie Macaulay, described the Isoko North APC LGA consensus congress as peaceful and thanked all stakeholders of the party in the area.

Macaulay congratulated the Isoko North APC LGA new executive, and urged the people of Isoko North to continued to support the led government of President Bola Tinubu and governor Sheriff Oborevwori even as he called on all and sundry to support the re-election of Tinubu and Oborevwori come 2027.

The congress which was supervised by officials of Independent National Electoral Commission, (INEC), security agents and well attended by leaders and stakeholders.
